Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Directional Driller to join our Drilling Crew division based out of Wingfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drilling projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate drilling equipment, including directional drills, to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct pre-drilling site assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop and implement drilling plans.
  • Monitor and maintain drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance drilling skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • White Card certification
  • Experience in the civil industry, with a focus on drilling and excavation
  • Excavator ticket and HR truck license
  • Desirable: Vac truck license, drilling experience, directional drilling experience, pit and pipe experience, NBN experience
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to pass fit for work assessment and drug and alcohol screen
  • Ability to complete online inductions prior to commencement
