Front End Cashier Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Front End Cashier. As a key member of the Front End team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service by processing orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

  • Process member orders and handle payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a high level of member service by greeting members, answering questions, and providing product information
  • Clean and organize the Front End area, including registers, shelves, and floor spaces
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including placing returned or moved product back to their allotted spots and collecting register paperwork
  • Stay updated with company productivity guidelines and follow proper Front End and general safety procedures and standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, employees, and suppliers
  • Assist with promoting sales initiatives and meeting specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor and maintain accurate merchandise inventory by scanning all items passing through the register
  • Request Supervisor verification for high-ticket or non-transfer items and count register at sign on
  • Active participation in various promotions and ensures the cleanliness of the register and disposal of hazardous materials
