Electrical Apprentice Role

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career as a skilled tradesperson and gain a nationally recognised trade qualification.

You will be working with experienced professionals, learning the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with their hands and enjoy problem-solving.

The role is based in Blacktown City, located halfway between Sydney City and the Blue Mountains. The area offers a diverse range of experiences and exposure to various types of projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment and have a strong commitment to safety.

Job Description:
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial and industrial settings
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to achieve project goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 15 years old
  • No longer at school or home-schooled
  • Have completed year 9 or equivalent
  • Provide written approval to proceed from either a school principal or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) or an authorised person acting in lieu of a school principal
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and develop new skills
