Forensic Clinician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team as a Forensic Clinician. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with complex cases and drive the future of forensic intervention in Victoria.

About the Role:

  • To deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment, working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments including risk assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and individual/group sessions.
  • Develop treatment plans, reports, and assessment reports for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine appropriate treatment pathways for individuals.
  • Employ evidence-based assessment tools in treatment programs.
  • Prepare treatment plans and reports.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
  • Current driver's license.
