Research Opportunity

We are seeking a highly accomplished academic with expertise in Health Economics to join our institution.

The successful candidate will contribute to internationally recognised research, focusing on public policy and macroeconomics. Their work will be published in top-tier journals, and they will secure external funding and build strategic collaborations with industry, government, and academia.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising honours and postgraduate students, and leading curriculum development and assessment to enhance the student learning experience.

In addition, the appointee will provide leadership in School and University governance, contribute to strategic planning, represent the institution in academic and professional settings, and support inclusion, diversity, and social impact initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Economics or a related field who has a track record of research excellence and sustainable peer-reviewed journal article publications in top-ranked journals.

The ideal candidate will have sustained major research funding success as lead investigator from competitive grant sources, industry, government, charities, and/or philanthropic sources.

They should also exhibit teaching excellence at the University level, including an emerging record of the development and delivery of curricula.
