Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced civil engineer to join our team in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

About the Role:

This is a newly created position due to strong organic growth. You will report directly into the principal and have the backing of a team of over 40 experts nationally. You will be tasked with leading a project delivery team in achieving client commitments and building client advocacy and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, coordination of designs and contract administration.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders (clients, authorities, other consultants etc.) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships.
  • Assist principal engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverables.
  • Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth.
  • Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgment.
  • Recruit, manage, train, and mentor staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in planning and managing projects through involvement in all stages of project delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management.
  • High-level industry awareness and engagement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • REPQ certification desirable.
