Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Specialist in Health, Safety, and Environment to bolster our HSE initiatives across various operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our health and safety protocols are not only established but also adhered to throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support compliance with all management system standards, legal obligations, and codes.
  • Engage with management and site personnel regarding all health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Manage and maintain data within our operational systems.
  • Assist in conducting thorough incident investigations.
  • Handle calendar management for HSE activities.
  • Travel regularly to support operations across various locations.
  • Ensure effective document control and record maintenance.
  • Contribute to health and safety reporting and communications.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong aptitude for technology.
  • A proven track record in supporting HSE teams, preferably within the mining industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and report preparation.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate and compliant record systems aligned with company standards.
  • A customer-centric approach with the ability to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Capability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills, with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
