Heavy Machinery Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with container handlers, reach stackers, and/or large forklifts.

The selected individual will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of heavy machinery. This will include conducting routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

In addition to technical skills, the selected individual will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and strong communication skills to interact with both colleagues and customers.

The role also requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to safety protocols and best practices. Flexibility to work in various environments, including on-site field service, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy machinery
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues
  • Collaborate with the service team to provide exceptional customer support
  • Keep accurate records of all service and repair activities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with container handlers, reach stackers, and/or large forklifts
  • Strong background in auto electrical systems and hydraulic components
  • Familiarity with telehandlers, access equipment, wet brakes, and transmissions
  • Prior experience in the forklift industry is preferred
