Missile Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Missile Technician to join our team. This role will involve working on the assembly, disassembly and testing of missile systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance activities;
  • Under supervision, carry out the assembly and disassembly of weapons components using various jigs, fixtures and special tools;
  • Under supervision, using various items of test equipment, carry out electrical tests, physical measurements etc.;
  • Assist as required for inwards acceptance testing and function screening activities of weapons components;
  • Assist in material control activities such as preparing and kitting consumable items, preparation and staging configured items for production and maintenance activities, movement of explosive ordnance etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Maintenance Technician background with relevant experience in planned maintenance activities or similar/equivalent experience;
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV-1 clearance.
