Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant to assist in the planning, organization, and delivery of physical therapy services to our residents. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to residents, including conducting screenings, evaluations, and treatment sessions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, including setting short-term and long-term goals.
  • Conduct both individual and group treatment sessions, adapting techniques and media as needed to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Monitor resident progress and consult with the Physical Therapist to modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Assist in establishing and modifying resident schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Train residents, family members, and staff on the use and application of physical therapy equipment and techniques.
  • Participate in resident, family, and staff education, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
