About the Role:

The Management Accountant will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of SwanCare. This includes ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and managing the payroll function. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance team, providing strategic insights to drive operational efficiency and align financial activities with the company's vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Finance team in a respectful and team-oriented environment.
  • Manage the timely preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Oversight of Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) management processes to ensure compliance with prudential standards.
  • Review and submit quarterly financial reports, benchmarking reports, and annual Aged Care Financial Report.
  • Lead external audit processes and establish an internal audit framework promoting continuous improvement.
