Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants and Funding Specialist to join our team at Fi NOW. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government grants application processes, including the R&D Tax Incentive and new funding schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Management:
    • Prepare, submit, and manage applications for grants, including R&D Tax Incentive, National Reconstruction Fund, and other relevant programs.
    • Ensure all grant applications meet eligibility criteria and adhere to submission and reporting deadlines.
    • Collaborate with technical and financial teams to gather necessary documentation and data for applications.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records for all grants and funding programs to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Prepare and submit progress and final reports for grant-funded projects.
    • Conduct audits of R&D activities and expenses to ensure alignment with grant requirements.
  • Research and Opportunity Identification:
    • Proactively research and identify new grant and funding opportunities that align with Fi NOW's strategic goals.
    • Monitor changes in government policies, funding initiatives, and industry trends to leverage potential opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with the R&D, finance, and legal teams to align grant activities with company priorities.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, including funding bodies, auditors, and consultants, to ensure smooth communication and application processes.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and refine internal processes for grant applications and compliance to improve efficiency and success rates.
    • Create templates and guidelines to streamline documentation and reporting.
