The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental principles and practices, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement safe work procedures to ensure compliance with HSE legislation and industry best practice.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, including investigations and outcomes.
  • Coordinate HSE training programs for employees, including inductions, refresher training, and specialized training as required.
  • Administer the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a HSE or HR support function role.
  • Certificate IV in HSE or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A basic understanding of HSE legislation and industry best practices.
