Job Details

This exciting opportunity is for a Kitchen Hand to join our team and play a vital role in providing healthy meals and snacks seven days a week during school terms.

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Cook planned meals according to instructions from the senior cook.
  • Provide excellent service when serving student and staff meals.
  • Clean benches, surfaces, and equipment effectively and as needed.
  • Wash dishes, operate the dishwasher, and stack clean crockery and utensils.
  • Maintain adherence to Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Flexibility to work shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.

As a Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and hygienic practices are maintained at all times in the kitchen and canteen area.
