Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver nursing education programs within the hospital's medical ward.
  • Provide educational support and clinical teaching to staff, with a focus on graduate nurses and students.
  • Promote evidence-based nursing care and best practices.
  • Ensure staff compliance with mandatory training and eLearning modules.
  • Assess and evaluate staff competencies in collaboration with the medical ward NUM and the executive team.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
  • National Crime Check within the past 12 months.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or working towards it).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a medical ward.
  • Experience with eLearning platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).
