We are partnering with a leading hospital in Hobart to find a skilled Nurse Educator to join their dynamic education team. As a passionate and motivated nurse, you will have the opportunity to inspire professional growth in others and contribute to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver nursing education programs within the hospital's medical ward.
- Provide educational support and clinical teaching to staff, with a focus on graduate nurses and students.
- Promote evidence-based nursing care and best practices.
- Ensure staff compliance with mandatory training and eLearning modules.
- Assess and evaluate staff competencies in collaboration with the medical ward NUM and the executive team.
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
- National Crime Check within the past 12 months.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or working towards it).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a medical ward.
- Experience with eLearning platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
- Full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).
- Permanent full-time, part-time, and fixed-term contracts available.
- Opportunities for management development.
- $115,229.60 per annum + superannuation.
