Imagine making a difference in someone's life as a compassionate Disability Support Worker. We are looking for an individual who can provide emotional support and empower our client to live independently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health support, be empathetic, and possess good communication skills. They should also be interested in arts and crafts and have knowledge of nutrition.

We require the successful applicant to hold current First Aid and CPR certification, a valid driver's licence, and insured vehicle. A Working with Children Check QLD / Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check / Yellow Card are also essential.

This is a rewarding role that offers a competitive rate of pay starting from SCHADS Level 3.1 - $33.96 AM rate plus penalties for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

**Job Requirements:**

  • Implement therapeutic strategies and support healthy eating habits.
  • Engage in creative activities to foster the client's interests.
  • Assist with daily living tasks to promote independence.
