Retail Buyer - Procurement Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Buyer - Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team at Good Luck Supermarket Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of fresh produce items and daily necessities for our supermarket clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase fresh produce items and daily necessities from vendors.
  • Negotiate exclusive deals with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure access to high-quality products.
  • Monitor sales data and inventory levels to forecast future demand and plan purchasing accordingly.
  • Analyze sales data to identify new product opportunities and expand product ranges.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Business or related field.
  • At least 1 year full-time retail buyer working experience in fresh produce buying, sourcing, or related retail goods buying in supermarket retail environment.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Professional knowledge in supply chain management, procurement, communication, or related field.

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent full-time position with 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday working hours. Salary package: 76,000+super/per year.
