We are seeking a seasoned Financial Professional to join our dynamic team in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, we require a meticulous and proactive individual who will bring expertise in finance, accounting, and administration.

About the Role
  • This hands-on position involves overseeing all aspects of financial management across a diverse portfolio of investments.

This unique opportunity offers the chance to work within a trusted environment where discretion, reliability, and financial acumen are paramount.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of comprehensive financial reports, including statutory accounts, BAS, and FBT compliance.
  • Cash flow reporting, invoicing, and payment processing.
  • Investment performance analysis and support.
  • Property management, reconciliations, and liaison with property managers.
  • General administrative support as required.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Tertiary qualification with at least 7 years previous accounting experience, preferably in a small business or office environment.
  • CPA/CA qualification or working towards is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in managing external audit requirements.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office software - Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Quick learning with accounting software (MYOB experience is desirable).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at prioritization.
  • Excellent communication skills – confident interacting with people at all levels.
  • Unwavering commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team and independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
