About this Role

This exciting hands-on role involves sharing your expertise and experiences with centre teams to support their teaching and learning for all children, including those with additional needs.

You will provide high-quality coaching and advice to centre staff to build their capability in delivering quality education and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-demand coaching and advice to centre staff on teaching and learning strategies
  • Work with centres to develop and implement their Quality Improvement Plans
  • Support the implementation of approved learning frameworks across Queensland, focusing on high-priority centres
  • Maintain expert knowledge of relevant state and national learning frameworks
  • Collaborate with the Teaching and Learning team to identify and implement key practice uplift initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with operations teams to support safety outcomes
Essential Requirements
  • A 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university
  • Extensive recent practice-based early childhood teacher education experience (aged birth to 8 years)
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
  • Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation, and team leadership skills
