This role is a key opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities. As Behaviour Support Clinical Leader, you will be responsible for assessing and addressing challenging behaviours, developing tailored interventions, and promoting positive change.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time position involves working closely with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support and effective implementation of behaviour support plans. You will also be required to design and implement person-centred behaviour support plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify factors influencing challenging behaviours.
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans that address identified issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless support and effective plan implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as psychology or social work.
- Experience in behaviour support, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
