About the Client
Mahlab Recruitment is working with a leading business in the energy sector, a growth-oriented organisation at the forefront of Australia's energy transition.
About the Role
This senior infrastructure and PPP lawyer will be embedded with the business, supporting the bidding for and delivery of large infrastructure projects, with a focus on renewable energy.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the project team in negotiations with key partners, including government entities.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of project documentation, including joint venture and consortium agreements.
- Assisting project risk from a sponsor and contractor perspective.
- Advising on design and construction, operations and maintenance, and procurement contracts.
- Tenders and requests for proposals.
- Working with and instructing external counsel.
About You
You will be a senior lawyer with significant experience in public-private partnerships and infrastructure. You will have the confidence to work autonomously with the business, providing pragmatic legal advice and support to senior stakeholders.
