  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments and agencies;
  • Build and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders, providing clear and concise advice;
  • Apply strategic thinking to manage complex and sensitive issues, ensuring that the needs of key government stakeholders are met with precision;

As a Government Relations Specialist, you will be working closely with the Minister's Office and other government departments to develop succinct briefings and deliver impactful results.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of timely, high-quality briefings to meet the needs of senior government stakeholders;
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments and agencies;
  • Provide clear and concise advice to stakeholders on complex and sensitive issues;

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the NSW SES team to achieve our mission of saving lives and creating safer communities.

">Requirements:
  • Possess qualifications or significant relevant experience in Communications, Government, or a related field;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Be a strong communicator with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills;
