About the Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Glazier to fulfill this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and other glass products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Use hand tools, glass cutters, and automated equipment to cut and shape glass to required dimensions and designs.
  • Install and repair glass components, including window frames, hinges, and handles.
  • Smooth and polish glass edges using abrasives or grinding wheels to ensure safe handling and aesthetic appeal.
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine appropriate glass sizes, types, and installation methods.
  • Replace broken or damaged glass in windows, doors, or other structures, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Glazier or similar role with proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping glass using hand tools and automated equipment.
  • Trade qualification as a glazier or relevant work experience in the field with understanding of building codes and safety regulations related to glass installation.
  • Able to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders accurately with strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum.
