About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading driver training company, where you will have the chance to motivate and instruct train drivers to achieve high safety standards.

Your key responsibilities will include developing supportive relationships with train drivers, instructing and coaching personnel in train management competencies and procedures, delivering and maintaining training and assessment plans, reports, and learning documents.

You will also be responsible for performing fair assessments of personnel and utilizing upskilling methods to ensure competencies are maintained, planning and organizing competency and learning programs, and performing administrative duties including maintenance of required files and training records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Understanding of behavioral and psychological factors behind defensive and crash-free driving
  • Good training skills and patience
  • High level of facilitation, mentoring, coaching, and relationship building skills
