Critical Care Transition Program

The transition program for early career nurses is designed to develop skills and knowledge in a Critical Care environment. The role offers a full-time rotating roster, support from Clinical Nurse Educators, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
About the RoleThis experience allows nurses to learn hands-on and supported. At the conclusion of the program, candidates can expect to have gained transferable skills and expertise in various clinical settings.
The role offers three streams: Cardiology, Emergency, or Intensive Care, providing individuals with diverse teams and varying levels of clinical expertise. Candidates will be challenged in a variety of clinical scenarios and have opportunities to stay on and further develop in Critical Care.
Nurses will work closely with experienced colleagues to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as their ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
Throughout the program, candidates will participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and peer review sessions to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
On successful completion of the program, candidates can expect to have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to progress their careers in a Critical Care environment.
