This civilian role involves delivering Collins Class Submarine platform systems operator training at the Royal Australian Navy's world-class training facility. You will teach classroom and practical scenario simulator classes using a range of specialist equipment, assess students' performance, and contribute to training development and the introduction of new capabilities onto the submarine.

Job Description

This role requires you to deliver training in classroom, platform training simulator, and virtual environments. You will also assess the competency of students, assist with training development, and maintain your own knowledge and skills currency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of submarine control room routines.
  • Experience operating Manoeuvring Control Console (MCC) or Diving Safety Consoles (DSC).
  • Confident presenter and communicator.
  • Collins Class Submariner Qualification.
  • Willingness to undertake Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Ability to apply adult learning principles to develop others' knowledge and skills.
