About the Role:

The Project Engineer will be involved in all stages of the Solar Farm projects, reporting to the Project Manager. The role is a site-based position with a 10:4 roster and allowances for living away from home provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage all aspects of design, including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical.
  • Assist in project scheduling, cost tracking, and quality assurance during the project.
  • Prepare and maintain all project technical and quality documentations.
  • Provide on-time project reporting to the EPC team and external clients.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing budget estimates for new EPC tender work.
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
  • Lead and manage the execution of running a solar farm.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing Solar farm projects.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
