Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Principal will play a pivotal role in driving student achievement and inclusion.

Primary Duties
  • Lead the Special Education Program to enhance educational outcomes for students with disabilities.
  • Support the Principal in delivering the school's educational vision and deputise when required.
  • Embed socially just practices and foster a culture of inclusion and high expectations.
  • Build and sustain positive partnerships with parents, agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead curriculum, teaching, and learning innovations that promote quality outcomes for all students.
  • Manage the human, financial, and physical resources of the SEP to achieve organisational goals.

  • Proven leadership in special education with a strong focus on student achievement and inclusion.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to build strong, collaborative relationships across the school and community.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to improved educational outcomes.
