Delivering high-quality evidence-based psychological therapies and clinical interventions is at the heart of this exciting opportunity. As a skilled Mental Health and AOD Clinician, you will work closely with consumers to provide exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored assessment and treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each consumer.
  • Engage in one-to-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities to promote positive change and improve mental wellbeing.
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach to foster collaboration and empower consumers to take control of their mental health.
  • Employ de-escalation strategies and motivational interviewing techniques to motivate consumers in treatment.
  • Facilitate group interventions, focusing on psychoeducation, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, and other therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in AOD and Mental Health settings.
  • Proven expertise in applying evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, promoting effective collaboration and cooperation.
