We are seeking an Academic to contribute to our teaching programs in Information Systems and Analytics. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the standing of our faculty's courses and contribute to our research agenda.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Contributing to the development of our teaching programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Undertaking and publishing high-quality research in leading journals.
- Actively contributing to the development of our research agenda, including a strong performance in Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA).
- Participating in competitive external research funding activities.
- Enhancing the scholarly reputation of the University.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field. They will have a focus on research and teaching on emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, or Blockchain. Experience in teaching Business Analytics or Digital Management courses would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have an outstanding record of research and scholarship, and demonstrated leadership and research expertise in Information Systems. They will be able to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of our Department and play a major role in scholarship, research, and professional activities.
