Job Description:
The role of a Rural Generalist GP/ED is to provide high-quality patient care in a rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in remote areas and be comfortable with the challenges that come with it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department, outpatients, and ward settings.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing and wound management.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
A strong understanding of rural health issues and the ability to work independently is essential for this role.
