Oral Health Therapist Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality oral health care services to eligible clients. As an Oral Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based dental treatment and promoting oral health at an individual and community level.


About the Job Description

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standard of service delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver oral health therapy services to eligible clients, including clinical assessments, treatments, and education.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, as well as contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Promote oral health awareness and education within the community, through various channels and mediums.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Oral Health (or equivalent) and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Radiation Use Licence issued under the Radiation Safety Act 1999, with appropriate authority.
  • New graduates may be eligible to apply, with opportunities for entry into the Early Career Dental Practitioner Program (ECDPP).
