About The Role

The Youth Librarian contributes to the general operations and library services and oversees the library programs, services, and collection aimed at community members aged 0-18 and their families by:

  1. Curating and Developing the Junior Collection
  2. Ensuring Ongoing Relevancy and Interest

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement library programs and services for children and young adults
  • Curate and maintain a diverse and engaging collection of books, media, and digital resources
  • Collaborate with community groups and organizations to promote literacy and learning
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to library patrons
