Accounting Professional

The role involves delivering professional accounting services to clients, encompassing a diverse range of industries and client types.

A key aspect of the position is providing expert financial statement preparation, tax returns, and compliance review. Additionally, the role requires supporting junior staff in their work and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Deliver high-quality special purpose financial statements supported by detailed work papers.
  • Prepare income tax returns for various entities.
  • Conduct period-end accounting and compliance reviews.
  • Support and mentor junior staff as needed.
  • Perform basic tax planning for clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a range of clients.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Hold a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualification, or be currently studying towards one.
  • Demonstrate at least 3 years of local accounting experience.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Be a team player, committed to supporting colleagues.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
  • Familiarity with MYOB, Xero, Spotlight, and Fathom, as well as MS Office.
