Disability Services Manager Role

This is an opportunity to work in a client-focused and dynamic environment where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to individuals with disabilities.

The Disability Services Manager will lead and manage a team of support workers, overseeing the delivery of person-centered care plans and ensuring that clients receive the best possible outcomes.

  • Critical functions of this role include:
  1. Care plan management and review to ensure that clients' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  2. Client documentation management to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  3. Point of contact for client management to engage with clients, families, and stakeholders to improve the client experience.
  4. Oversight of funding utilisation to ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively.

You will be responsible for working closely with clients and their families to identify their assessment care needs and support services required. You will also lead and provide coaching to support workers in effective methods for delivering and exceeding client expectations.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a Community Services Co-ordination or Case Management role, managing SIL/Disability accommodations, and supervising, supporting, and training staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues. They will also have a sound understanding of disability support services and the ability to navigate complex systems.
