The Queensland Department of Health seeks experienced professionals to fill non-executive positions on Hospital and Health Boards across the state.
- Key responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership and governance of local healthcare services
- Critical decision-making in health management, business operations, human resources, and legal affairs
- Community engagement and partnership development
- Driving performance and strategic thinking
Applicants should possess expertise in areas including health management, business, human resources, clinical expertise, and primary care. They must demonstrate exceptional commercial acumen, strong governance skills, leadership abilities, personal integrity, resilience, and collaboration.
Candidates will be accountable to the Minister for Health and Ambulance Services and are expected to perform functions according to the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011.
