About the Position

ROLE OBJECTIVE

Located within the retail environment and reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position is tasked with ensuring the delivery of exceptional standards of Store Presentation throughout the establishment.

The Store Presentation Coordinator plays an essential role in maintaining consistently high store standards that are visually attractive, welcoming, and aligned with the brand identity.

With a keen eye for detail, the Coordinator aids Freedom in showcasing products in an optimal manner, thereby enhancing customer experiences and boosting sales.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

- Drives revenue by creating a premier shopping environment within the store.

- Inspires customers to engage with the Freedom brand, fostering a genuine connection.

- Achieves and maintains exemplary store presentation consistently.

- Provides insightful and constructive feedback to the Cluster Visual Merchandising Team, identifying opportunities for improvement and acting on them to enhance sales.

- Cultivates strong working relationships with the Store Manager and the in-store Retail/Visual Merchandising Team.

- Ensures all products are correctly ticketed and labeled according to standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with the Store Manager and Cluster Visual Merchandising Team to support the visual environment within the store.
  • Maintains all Visual Merchandising displays as directed by the Cluster Visual Merchandising Team.
  • Oversees adherence to ticketing standards across the store, including promotional ticketing execution.
  • Upholds all Homewares planograms as established by the Cluster Visual Merchandising Team.
  • Ensures Styling standards are met as per the guidelines set by the Cluster Visual Merchandising Team.
  • Assists with seasonal or ad hoc furniture floor moves as necessary.
  • Responsible for all homewares stock replenishment throughout the store, including unpacking deliveries.
  • In collaboration with the retail team, executes all promotional campaign visual directives.
  • Aids Cluster Visual Merchandisers in delivering all Visual Merchandising Calendar initiatives to a high standard and within designated timelines.
  • Works alongside the retail team and Cluster Visual Merchandising Team to maintain overall store presentation at all times.
  • Adheres to in-store Visual Merchandising guidelines and Style guides consistently.
  • Assists with project refits and builds within the region as required.
  • Provides store audit information when necessary.
  • Supports the Cluster Visual Merchandising Team on various projects as needed.
  • Balances the commercial and visual needs of the business while maintaining merchandising displays.
  • Actively participates in new store setups and refurbishments, collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Assists with online order fulfillment when required.
  • Collaborates with the Store Manager regarding Display Bin Management.
  • Works with the Store Manager on Clearance and Discontinued stock management.
  • Responsible for executing the Visual Merchandising Weekly Checklist.
  • Prepares and resets the store for weekend trading.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications in Visual Merchandising and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably with a focus on Home Interiors.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Background in Retail or Team Leadership.
  • Knowledge of bulky goods retailing.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports to assess performance and determine actions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
