Telehealth Medical Services Specialist

We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Telehealth Medical Services Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in telehealth, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to patients remotely.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general practice and sexual health, with experience in delivering medical services using a holistic, patient-centred approach. You will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients, and a demonstrated sensitivity to the issues faced by gender diverse and same sex attracted people.

In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide medical information to clients within a model of empowerment and personal development. You will also be responsible for conducting initial appointments with patients, providing ongoing care, and engaging in informal and formal case-management and peer-review meetings with other medical practitioners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality general practice and sexual health medical services remotely
  • Deliver medical services using a holistic, patient-centred approach
  • Establish rapport with diverse clients and provide medical information in a sensitive and empowering manner
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional client care
  • Engage in informal and formal case-management and peer-review meetings with other medical practitioners

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine)
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of general practice and/or sexual health medical services
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the issues faced by gender diverse and same sex attracted people
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse clients
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
