The role of an External Security Vetting Analyst Team Leader involves leading high-performing teams in handling complex personal security clearance processes.
- Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and best practices.
- Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs) ensuring their alignment with standard procedures and the PSPF.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient caseload management and execution.
- Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
- A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
- Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
- Leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and leading a team of enthusiastic security analysts.
- Attention to Detail, with meticulous scrutiny of extensive data and identification of potential security risks.
- Quality Assurance skills, with a firm commitment to uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.
- Lead high-performing teams in processing security clearances.
- Assess clearance cases with attention to detail and ability to manage complex processes.
- Accountable for Quality Assurance, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs).
Note: This position requires working closely with various stakeholders to achieve efficient results.
