AccountAbility is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to support our client in the Melbourne CBD. This 6-month contract offers a flexible hybrid working environment and utilizes ADP Payforce.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of experience with ADP Payforce, handling full end-to-end payroll processes and being available immediately or with a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently coordinate end-to-end payroll operations using ADP Payforce
- Reconcile employee pay and accrued leave entitlements
- Manage documentation processing for new hires and departures
- Provide timely and accurate responses to payroll inquiries from employees
- Facilitate payroll adjustments for salary increments and contribute to month-end and year-end procedures
- Undertake various administrative duties, such as file maintenance, creation of new employee records, distribution of starter kits, and managing the process for police checks
Requirements
- Prior experience with ADP Payforce
- Prior payroll experience, ideally 2-3 years
- Experience with long service leave calculations
- Strong time management and organizational capabilities
- Solid verbal and written communication proficiency
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
