We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in recovery. The successful candidate will provide excellent patient-centred care to our surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
- Continuously assess and monitor patients' condition.
- Notify the medical officer of changes as appropriate.
- Identify and implement discharge-planning requirements.
- Plan appropriate care in consultation with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Prioritise and implement planned care to achieve expected outcomes of established priorities.
- Demonstrated experience working in recovery environments.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Initiative and desire to continually improve patient care standards.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
