Director Government Land Policy and Advice Role

This leadership position oversees the delivery of strategic advice, complex projects, evidence-based policy development and reform, assessments, data management, and spatial analysis and mapping services relating to land in Victoria.

The role involves leading a team of experts to achieve organisational outcomes, developing and implementing land legislation and policy, and building relationships with government agencies and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver key organisational outcomes
  • Develop and implement land legislation and policy to drive positive change for communities
  • Build trust and collaboration across government and with various stakeholder groups

To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, experience leading a team, and knowledge and experience in land legislation and policy.

Essential Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in land legislation and policy
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a diverse team
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
