About the Role

Newcrest Mining is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Project Management Office team based in Brisbane, Australia.

As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing contract analysis and summaries, ensuring contract execution aligns with company policy, and managing contract variations, payment claims, and issuance of payment certificates.

You will also lead regular supplier and contractor meetings, manage contracts against commercial categories, and monitor all contract deadlines and conditions to ensure timely completion.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as a Contract Administrator with knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts, experience working in the mining, oil and gas or construction industries, and familiarity with accounting procedures.

A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Law or other relevant discipline is highly desirable, as well as strong stakeholder engagement experience and excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
