Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the front of house in our modern Indian cuisine restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper management, authentic hospitality and service, and customer satisfaction.

  • Work closely with the Head Chef for menu planning;
  • Cash handling and banking procedures as required;
  • Managing and arranging purchases within allocated budgets;
  • Managing financial records and overseeing stock levels;
  • Maintain Health & Safety and cleanliness within the Restaurant;
  • Managing staff hours and rosters;
  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff;
  • Liaising with customers, handling customer enquiries and complaints;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or higher in hospitality or management;
  • At least 3 years' work experience in a similar environment;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
