Job Title: Full time Dental Assistant

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental clinic, providing excellent patient care and supporting our team of dental professionals.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting dental practitioners with various procedures, including preparing and mixing materials, handing instruments and medication, and coordinating patient treatments. Additionally, they will be required to take and process dental X-rays, use suction devices and water sprays, and maintain and record patient information.

They will also educate patients on oral hygiene practices, assist with reception duties, and process payments and billing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and mixing materials during dental procedures as required
  • Assisting dental practitioners with various procedures
  • Coordinating patient treatments
  • Taking and processing dental X-rays
  • Maintaining and recording patient information
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require good communication skills, people skills, and excellent infection control knowledge and practices. You should have a minimum of one year's experience in a relevant field and hold good diagnostic skills and treatment planning ability.
