Labourer Position Available

We are seeking a reliable and skilled labourer to join our team in supporting the construction and maintenance of infrastructure.

  • This role plays a key part in supporting the construction and maintenance of infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have experience in general labouring duties, road construction and maintenance, bridge repairs, stormwater construction, operating small plant and light truck equipment, monitoring daily work schedules and ensuring efficient resource use, liaising with customers to provide excellent customer service and adhering to Council's Code of Conduct and policies.

This is a fixed-term position for up to 2 years offering opportunities for career growth and development. About this role:
  • To undertake general labouring duties as required;
  • To assist with road construction and maintenance tasks;
  • To conduct bridge repairs and stormwater construction;
  • To operate small plant and light truck equipment safely and efficiently;
  • To monitor daily work schedules and ensure efficient resource use;
  • To liaise with customers to provide excellent customer service;
  • To adhere to Council's Code of Conduct and policies;
