Queensland Housing Leader Opportunity

Vinnies Housing is seeking a skilled individual to join its Board and shape housing futures for vulnerable Queenslanders. This is a voluntary position, providing an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

The successful candidate will have experience in legal, development, planning, or social sector operations, risk management, project delivery, ICT governance, and compliance. As a Tier 2 Community Housing provider, Vinnies Housing manages 650+ homes and aims to grow by 500 more in the next 5 years.

The role involves meeting bi-monthly with Directors and contributing to strategic decision-making. Reimbursement for meeting attendance costs and relevant training and support are available. We encourage diversity and statewide nominations.

  • Leadership experience in housing or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in project delivery and risk management
  • Strong understanding of ICT governance and compliance principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
