Geochemistry Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geochemistry Specialist to join our team in the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to cutting-edge research in hydrogen storage and geochemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting research focused on geochemistry and diagenetic alteration within the subsurface
• Collaborating with colleagues to undertake research on the impact of geological heterogeneities on subsurface flow and interactions of hydrogen upon injection and recovery
• Supervising postgraduate students and/or research support staff

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A PhD with a focus on geochemistry or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in conducting research experiments in a laboratory setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
