Commercial Manager
This role is responsible for providing commercial and contractual expertise to the project team.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that project managers, contract administrators, and stakeholders understand and comply with commercial policies and procedures.
- Review and approve major/high-risk subcontract proposals.
- Attend contract acceptance and review meetings to address commercial issues.
- Interpret tenders and apply contractual agreements per the Security of Payments Act.
- Manage commercial issues, including disputes, claims, risk, and forecasting.
- Lead scope change identification and negotiations with the client.
- Conduct post-contract reviews and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and coach a high-performing team.
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related fields.
- Experience with contracting strategies and compensation models for large-scale projects.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills, with a passion for mentoring.
