A Career in Waste Management
As a Sorter at Veolia, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of our community. This is a full-time position that involves sorting recyclables into various commodity types, removal of contamination from a moving conveyor, and working safely as part of a team to achieve operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort recyclables into various commodity types
- Remove contamination from a moving conveyor
- Work safely as part of a team to achieve operational outcomes
- Evaluate daily instructions and prioritize accordingly to complete work tasks in accordance with required deadlines
What You Need To Succeed
- Be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Prior experience in waste management or processing line work is desirable
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an estimated salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, and access to a range of benefits including employee share plan, support to pursue educational and development opportunities, and access to career options and pathways.
